Normally I'd see that the Rockets are playing better than ever with a 12 game winning streak and say that it kills them that Yao goes down.
Not this year.
Let's be realistic, the Rockets have absolutely no shot at winning the 'ship this year. They would be lucky to make it out of the first round. Even with Yao and the gang playing the best ball of their lives, it took a 12-game win streak to get them into the eight spot in the west.
Now they'll miss the playoffs and get a shot at a lottery pick, which they could use desperately. They can pick up a solid point or power forward to help out T-Mac and Yao.
So unless you own Yao in your fantasy league, this may be a low-key good injury for Houston.
